About

I’ve always been drawn to asking questions, challenging assumptions and looking for the connections between things that are often treated separately. My background across different areas of design has taught me to move between the wider system and the detail, look beyond the immediate output and understand what is really happening.
‍
Design thinking has long been central to how I work. With a foundation in Product and Industrial Design, I naturally approach problems by understanding context, exploring different perspectives, structuring complexity and developing ideas through iteration rather than jumping straight to a predetermined solution.
‍
Service Design brings those strengths together: bringing different disciplines and perspectives into the same conversation, making complexity understandable, finding structure within ambiguity, and turning insight into clearer, more coherent services and experiences.

20+ years in design
Experience across public-sector, commercial, digital and communication work.

‍Breadth by experience
Used to moving between disciplines and following the needs of the problem rather than a predetermined output.

‍Human-centred by instinct
Interested in what people are trying to achieve, how they behave and what design changes about their experience.

‍Form follows function
Purpose, usefulness and understanding come before decoration or novelty.
